“ I ordered "to go" from here and it was SO GOOD. The food here actually tastes authentic. It's hard finding really good Chinese food in the area that has house special fried chow mein and singapore style noodle. I have never gone in person but going based solely off the authenticity of the food is 10/10. ”
“ I didn't dine in but ordered a pick up. The restaurant looks shady and tourist trap from outside however once inside you are transported into a lovely place. Humble decor but clean. I ordered some staples and they were ready in 7 min (that's how long it took me to get there) food was tasty. However the meats ( chicken beef and shrimp ) were very scarce. We usually get to save leftovers of the rice for the second day, and here it was only rice nothing in it. Spring rolls were good and fresh. The location is convenient for me so I might order again and try different dishes but it is far from joining "the best of LA" list ”
“ Le Oriental Bistro serves delicious food, I ordered the Mongolian Beef and was very pleased. The slices of steak were tender, perfectly cooked in a very tasty sauce with sliced onions and scallions. The service was friendly, food was excellent was good and I'll return again. ”
“ After a show at The Bowl, my friend and I hiked down the mountain about 15 minutes, ending up at Le Oriental Bistro. Like a beacon of respite offering deep fried goodness, it satiated us nicely. This spot reminded me of many spots in one of my old 'hoods - Chinatown in Chicago. Service isn't exactly the emphasis but that's just the vibe of the place. This Chinese food spot though is located right by Hollywood and Highland - a human hub! We were lucky to beat a rush in and get a table before it quickly filled up around 11pm. The dishes we had weren't very adventurous: ~a BBQ Pork Fried Rice that was good ~honey chicken which was fine - pretty soggy, we had hoped for more crispness for being so un-saucy, but the minimal sauce had a good flavor ~salt & pepper chicken was best of the night, crisp & great flavor Portions were all huge - legit made a few meals for me in leftovers! We ordered a Sprite which never came, we couldn't flag anyone down for 20 mins so finally just grabbed one ourselves lol. The place was totally packed with one young server though, so it happens. Overall, made for exactly what we needed at just the right time to hit the spot! I wouldn't mind hitting them up again. ”
